We are so excited for this next chapter of our lives to start! Baby Hurt Coming June 2019!!!

Surprise!!! Adam and I are expecting a little babe in June! I so thrilled to finally be sharing this news with you guys that I have been keeping a secret for the last 17 weeks!!

“For this child we have prayed”

God has blessed us with this amazing miracle, something I started to believe would never happen for us. Our journey of trying to conceive has not been easy and it’s not something I’ve have shared publicly until now. I want you to know if you are or have experienced loss/or infertile issues I know your heart and your struggles. I am you too! We are praying for you!

For I know the plans I have for you... to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope &

Our Pregnancy Announcement!! We found out that we were expecting super early on – at about 3 weeks!!! I had mentioned to Adam that I thought I was but I wasn’t 100% sure until I took the at home pregnancy test. I had decided to take the test before getting ready for the Ed Sheeran concert! After taking the test I questioned if I had even peed enough for it get the results and so I waited about 5 mins and came back to it. The screen blinked PREGNANT! Immediately I cried, we had been trying for so long!

Quick back story; Adam had proposed to me our apartment in 2013 I came home and he was very adamant that I get some Advil from our master-bathroom for my headache that night, after he told me for the third time he couldn’t find it, I walked into our bathroom, and was shocked that there were several dozen roses in our bath room, I thought to myself you got me! But he wasn’t finished there he asked me that night to marry him in our bathroom. Fast forward to our wedding date June 27th, 2015 we choose the song “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran.

I had all these plans to surprise Adam with a cute little gift to announce that he was going to be a daddy!!!! After reading the pregnancy test  I was freaking out a little filled with every emotion but mostly excitement! Like I had mentioned I took the test before getting ready to go the Ed Sheeran concert. When Adam got home I said hello from upstairs and shortly after asked if he was coming up to take a shower? I had placed the pregnancy test on the ledge of the shower and waited! He was beyond excited and happy! We both got ready for the concert and were extremely excited but didn’t want to tell anyone just yet!

On the way to the concert Adam told me how funny life was that he had asked me to marry him the bathroom, and that I had told him that I was pregnant in bathroom. To make things even more fun our wedding song was by Ed Sheeran and now we were headed to see Ed Sheeran on the night of finding out and our due date is our wedding date!

I was so nervous at my first appointment which happened at about 10 weeks, my OB was amazing and helped me relax and not worry. It didn’t take her long to find the baby’s heartbeat which flickered on the screen and was such a crazy feeling to know a little peanut is inside of me!  For the most part I have been feeling okay! I’ve had some bad days where I have barely had the energy to do anything! I have been thankful that I have been able to still workout, and will keep doing so and will talk more about this on my next post! I am so excited to share this journey with you all and would love any advice from you momma’s out there!

Adam and I have decided we are not finding out Baby Hurt’s gender! We are just hoping for a healthy and happy baby!

As always thank you for reading and coming along this journey with us!

Love the Hurts
