I first met Kathrine (a kick ass mom boss) during the Fargo Junk Market; and yes you heard that correctly JUNK market (where one woman’s junk becomes another woman’s treasure)
Her booth caught my eye immediately (It was that giant metal chicken on the table that had me wondering what in the world was going on over there…. just kidding)
In all seriousness, I love that Howard Soap Co is a local Minnesota company and that all their candles are made from soy and natural ingredients. I left with the cutest little candle (and lately I have been obsessed with candles, who doesn’t want their home to be filled with indulging smells?)
I was more than excited to get on my hands on a few goodies and couldn’t wait to share with you all!
After trying the matcha green tea face and body bar, I feel in love! This has become part of my nightly routine, what I love is how clean my face feels after using and to top it off my skin has been looking amazing! (Confession; along with most people out there I have always struggled with black heads on my nose, since using this bar of soap I can see a dramatic change in how much smaller my pores have gotten). Using the face and body soap has been so simple; one thing that I love about the bar of soap is how much less product I have been putting on my face. I use my matcha green tea bar with my Clarisonic (ladies this is a game changer if you don’t already own one) and finish the night off with a oil serum. I would highly recommend to it to anyone! Another favorite has been the bath salts; the coconut rose salts are pretty high on my list (and would make the perfect gift for any of your girlboss friends out there). I was surprised on how amazing it smells (it wasn’t anything like those rose shaped bath bars that grandma and grandpa kept on the farm that in reality just smelt like an awful crayon). The coconut mixed with the rose petals smelt heavenly; along with leaving my skin extra smooth!!!! The bath salts have helped me relax at the end of a hard week!
Now we can’t forget about our handsome men!!! They too, need to have great skin products! My husband loved the man soap bar and the smell was not over bearing and left his skin feeling so soft afterwards. He did point out that after using it he felt like he got cleaner (Side note; we have tried other hand made soaps before and more often than not have been unhappy with the products as they left our skin feeling dry and when applying felt like wax). Not with Howard Soaps! We agreed that using Howard Soap products have been so different from our past experience and couldn’t believe how well they held up.
You can find on their website several different bars of soap ranging from $5 to $8 a piece. The candles which they are constantly coming out with new fragrance (and, I always want them all) range from $12 to $26. They have Bath Salts, lotions, oils, mask, honey and facial sets. They make the perfect gifts for anyone and we had a great time getting to try out several different products by Howard Soap Co.
