I absolutely adore Chicago; the people the food, the shopping, and all the festivals they have to offer. I was recently invited out for a festival called Spring Awakening. Of course, I jumped on this opportunity, and shortly after realized I had no idea what I was getting myself into or what it was.

When we arrived in Chicago, I was already excited for the whole weekend! Excited that I was stepping out of my comfort zone and trying something new. I had never been to a EDM (Electric Dance Music) festival before and again didn’t know if this was something I was going to enjoy or not, but I was still excited.

We showed up to Aadams Medal Park, with our VIP tickets that allowed us to skip the long lines at the main entrance. Once in we headed over to the main stage. Filled with all sorts of people just looking to have a great time. I loved how seriously friendly everyone was, I had been so worried that I would be out of place, and what for?

I choose to wear on the first day a white cut out shoulder dress by free people along with my rose gold sandals by Lucky and topped it off with a daisy headband. It was perfect for the hot temperatures during the day and the cool evening.

Take a step out of your comfort zone; you never know what might happen.
